If you remember doing something , you have a picture in your mind of the time when you did it. remember doing something指记得以前做过某事

Using the progressive
The verb remember is not usually used in the progressive in this meaning. You say:
Yes, I remember him.
Don’t say: Yes, I am remembering him.
You often say someone can remember something when describing what they remember:
Yes, I can remember him.
Patterns with remember
Do not use ‘remember about’ in this meaning. You say:
Do you remember that day?
Don’t say: Do you remember about that day?
