King Kong /ˌkɪŋ ˈkɒŋ $ -ˈkɑːŋ/ a very large gorilla who is the main character in the film King Kong (1933). He is taken to New York city, but he escapes and destroys buildings and hurts or kills many people. The most famous scene is where he climbs to the top of the Empire State Building carrying a woman in one arm.
